Die syntropische Landwirtschaft und insbesondere der syntropische Agroforst bieten einen innovativen Ansatz\, der Ökologie\, Produktivität und Resilienz vereint. Sie orientieren sich an natürlichen Prozessen und nutzen das Zusammenspiel von Pflanzen\, Boden und Mikroorganismen\, um lebendige\, widerstandsfähige Systeme zu schaffen. In diesem Tageskurs erhalten Sie eine fundierte Einführung in die Prinzipien und Praxis der syntropischen Landwirtschaft. SUMMARY:Permakultur - HAFL Feld- und Waldgarten Führung
DESCRIPTION:An diesem Nachmittag erhalten wir eine Führung durch den Permakultur Feldgarten und den Waldgarten. Beide Permakultur-Systeme wurden am Standort der HAFL (Hochschule für Agrar-\, Forst und Lebensmittelwissenschaften) in Zollikofen aufgebaut\, um unter anderem Studierenden eine Möglichkeit zu geben\, Permakultur zu erleben und auch zu erforschen. Neben Informationen zur Permakultur und den Umsetzungen vor Ort\, werden auch die Forschung und weitere Tätigkeiten der HAFL rund um die Permakultur vorgestellt.

SUMMARY:8. Europäische Agroforst Konferenz (EURAF) 2026 - Agroforestry at the Heart of Europe
DESCRIPTION:8th European Agroforestry Conference EURAF 2026\n22 – 26 June 2026 in Neuchâtel\, Switzerland\n  \nTraditional agroforestry still is an important element of current farming systems in Switzerland and in all European countries. \nModern agroforestry maintains productive agricultural systems under climate change\, sequesters carbon\, protects soils and maintains biodiversity. \nThe EURAF Congresses: Every other year\, 400+ scientists\, policy makers and farmers discuss the latest advancements on agroforestry. The goals of the Congress are to: \n\nConnect scientists\, farmers and policy makers\nAdvance the know-how on agroforestry by learning across borders\nFacilitate the planting of trees on farmland by translating scientific to practical know-how\n\nThe 2026 Congress will be organized at the University of Neuchâtel\, which offers all facilities needed for an international event. The venue will also facilitate the informal exchange among participants\, which is a key element to the success of such a conference. \nFocus \nIn addition to the broad spectrum on agroforestry research and implementation\, we want to particularly focus on: \n\nAgroforestry for food security in a changing world\n(Keywords: Productivity \, climate adaptation\, crop protection\, food systems\, global change)\nFarmer friendly agroforestry\n(Keywords: Extension\, subsidies & policy\, certification\, technology\, digitalization\, quality of life\, land ownership\, intergenerational equity)\nReconciling agriculture and nature\n(Keywords: Biodiversity\, climate mitigation\, soil\, water\, landscape\, ecosystem services)\nAgroforestry systems design\n(Keywords: Lowland agroforestry\, mountain agroforestry\, agroforestry and viticulture\, fodder hedges\, business models)\n\nConference activities \n\nKeynotes (from researchers and farmers)\nScientific sessions\nWorkshops and round table discussions\nExcursions\n\nThere will also be ample time for informal exchange during multiple social events: an icebreaker event on the first Conference day\, coffee breaks\, poster sessions\, the Conference dinner\, a swim in the lake after an exhausting Conference day\, or simply around a nice meal in one of the restaurants of the lovely Ville de Neuchâtel. \nThe location is ideal for excursions to the traditional agroforestry systems in the Jura mountains of both\, Switzerland and France\, to the intensively managed Swiss lowlands and to the Alpine region. \nThe call for Sessions will open by end of July \, registration will be possible from October 25th onwards.
